Happy Halloween! Everyone has a slightly different perception of what Halloween should be. Some like the scares. Some like the candy and treats. Others like to think up ironic, topical or clever puns to personify in costume form. For your average white collar professional on Wall Street, it’s pretty much this or picking a fantasy football team name when it comes to expressing creativity.
I decided to give it a whirl and present a few ideas I had for Wall Street themed Halloween Costumes this year.
What are some others you can think of?
Flash Crash
A Flash Crash costume comes with a trench coat, under garments to keep it PG-13 and giant red arrows strategically placed. All you need is the nerve and perfecting your deer-in-head-lights look to complete the ensemble.
Great for the single guy who always comes off slightly creepy at the party but gets invited anyway because the host has known him forever.
Pump N Dump
The Pump And Dump superhero team costume is great for college roommates, brothers, or any other duo pair. Costume comes with Muscle suit, fake barbells (Pump), and a janitors costume. Water and bucket come separately (Dump).
Theta Burn
Theta Burn may be a bit heady and theoretical but Theta burn slowly drags down your portfolio evoking the Grim Reaper himself. No one escapes the passage of time. Costume comes with hourglass, fake flames, Clock outfit and deathly face makeup.
Iron butterfly
An Iron butterfly (the options spread not the Band) is a great costume for the NYC Village Halloween Parade. Complete with individual “legs” of the option spread for wings, the iron butterfly puts steampunk together with natural beauty to create a synthetic Frankenstein-like creature for your holiday celebration.
Quad Witching
For a group of 4 women who have already done the Golden Girls, Sex in the City stars, and the Dixie Chicks — Try Quad witching. Costume comes with 4 witch hats, 4 witch cloaks and 4 brooms. Be careful -or these mysterious and spooky characters will make your futures expire!
