What is a Trader Dad?
Well, Miriam Webster’s dictionary does not currently define Trader Dad:
A Trader Dad is
All of the things I mentioned previously + The synergy of the two including:
Teaches their kids about money using “The Bank of Dad” for savings, loans and paying interest
Has his Trading Desk / Man cave all to himself
Not afraid to through an elbow occasionally (Metaphorically)
Not afraid to through an elbow occasionally (Physically)
First to wake up ; Last to go to bed
Just keeps grinding
A Trader Dad is not
All of the things I mentioned previously + the synergy of the two . A Trader Dad is NOT
NOT A bridge and tunnel man with a 90 minute commute to Manhattan each way draining his soul
NOT one to risks his family’s financial well being in the name of chasing the next great trade
NOT too cheap to buy the candy bar or coffee at the check out line for your kid/wife
NOT going to put a blog that no one reads above his family’s needs
